1. ርቱዕ ይደሉ።

1. It is right, it is just.

2. ብነ ኀበ እግዚአብሔር አቡነ ዘበሰማያት፥ አቡነ ዘበሰማያት፥ አቡነ ዘበሰማያት ኢታብአነ እግዚኦ ውስተ መንሱት።

2. We lift them unto the Lord Our God. Our Father who art in Heaven. Our Father who art in Heaven. Our Father who art in Heaven, lead us not into temptation.

3. ኪያከ ንሴብሕ እግዚኦ።

3. Oh we thank Thee. 

 

4. ኪያከ ንዌድስ እግዚኦ።

4. Oh Lord, we praise Thee.

 

5. ኦ ሥሉስ ቅዱስ መሐረነ፤ ኦ ሥሉስ ቅዱስ መሐከነ፤ ኦ ሥሉስ ቅዱስ ተሣሃለነ።

5. O Holy Trinity, pity us, O Holy Trinity, spare us, O Holy Trinity, have mercy upon us.

6. እግዚአብሔር ምስሌኪ። ወቡሩክ ፍሬ ከርሥኪ። ከመ ይሥረይ ለነ ኃጣውኢነ።

6. The Lord is with thee. And blessed is the fruit of your womb. That He may forgive us our sins. 

7. ይረስየነ ድልዋነ ለሰሚዐ ወንጌል ቅዱስ

7. May He make us meet to hear the Holy Gospel.

8. ስብሐት ለከ ክርስቶስ እግዚእየ ወአምላኪየ ኵሎ ጊዜ፤ 

8. Glory be to Thee, Christ my Lord and my God, at all times. 

9. ተፈሥሑ በእግዚአብሔር ዘረድአነ ወየብቡ ለአምላከ ያዕቆብ ንሥኡ መዝሙረ ወሀቡ ከበሮ። መዝሙር ሐዋዝ ዘምስለ መሰንቆ

9. Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob. Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.

10. በወንጌል መራሕከነ ወበነቢያት ናዘዝከነ ዘለሊከ አቅረብከነ ስብሐት ለከ።

10. Thou hast guided us with the Gospel, comforted us with the prophets, and drawn us nigh unto thee. Glory be to Thee. 

11. ነአምን ኣብ ዘበአማን፥ ወነአምን ወልደ ዘበአማን፥ ወነአምን መንፈሰ ቅዱሰ ዘበአማን ህልወ ሥላሴሆሙ ነአምን

11. Truly we believe in the very Father, truly we believe in the very Son, and truly we believe in the very Holy Spirit, we believe in their unchangeable Trinity.

12. እሉ ኪሩቤል ወሱራፌል የዐርጉ ሎቱ ስብሐተ እንዘ ይብሉ ቅዱስ ቅዱስ ቅዱስ አንተ እግዚአብሔር አብ ወወልድ ወመንፈስ ቅዱስ 

12. Those cherubim and seraphim offer to Him glory saying; Holy Holy Holy art Thou God, Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. 

13. መኑ ይመስለከ እምነ አማልክት እግዚኦ አንተ ውእቱ ዘትገብር መንክረ አርአይኮሙ ለሕዝብከ ኃይለከ ወአድኀንኮሙ ለሕዝብከ በመዝራዕትከ። ሖርከ ውስተ ሲኦል ወአዕረገ ፄዋ እምህየ ወጸጎከነ  ምዕረ ዳግመ ግዕዛነ እስመ መጻእከ ወአድኀንከነ። በእንተ ዝንቱ ንሴብሐከ ወንጸርሕ ኀቤከ እንዘ ንብል ቡሩክ አንተ እግዚኦ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ እስመ መጻእከ ወአድኀንከነ።

13. Whom is like you from the gods? For thou art who perform miracles. For thou showed your power to your people, and through Your strength you saved Your people  Thou didst go into Hades and the Captives rose up from there, and thou didst grant us again to be set free, for thou didst come and save us. For this cause we glorify thee and cry unto thee saying, Blessed art thou, Lord Jesus Christ, for thou didst come and save us.

14. ቀዳሚሁ ቃል ውእቱ ቃል ቃለ እግዚአብሔር ውእቱ ቃል ሥጋ ኮነ ወኀደረ ላዕሌነ ወርኢነ ስብሐቲሁ ከመ ስብሐተ አሐዱ ዋሕድ ለአቡሁ ቃለ ኣብ ሕያው ወቃል ማሕየዊ  ቃለ እግዚአብሔር ተንስአ ወሥጋሁኒ ኢማሰነ። ኣብ ጊዜ ጸሎተ ቅዳሴ ቃለ እግዚአብሔር ኪንበብ ከሎ ስቕ ምባልን ብእኣቶም ምግራምን ኪኸውን ይግባእ። ነአምን ቃለ ወንጌል ቅዱስ

14. In the beginning was the Word, the Word was the Word of God: The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only-begotten of the  Father,  the  Word  of the living Father, and the life-giving Word, the Word of God, rose again and His flesh was not corrupted. During the time that the Holy Word of God is being read, silence and wonder of the reading is needed. We believe in the word of the Holy Gospel.

15. ወንጌል ምስ ተነበበ፡ ዕርገት ቁርባን ከይተፈጸመ፡ ብጸገም ምኽንያት እንተዘይኮይኑ ካህን ቡራኬ ሂቡ ከየፋነወ፡ ሓደኳ ካብ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ኣይውጻእ።

15. After the reading of the gospel let no any one go out of he church, except in urgency, before the distribution of the holy communion, and the benediction of the priest, and the dismissal.
